LCCC Women Fall 79-76 to McCook

CHEYENNE, WY – The Laramie County Community College Women's Basketball team fell to McCook Community College 79-76 in a home game in the RAC on Saturday afternoon.

Just about every player that played for Laramie County scored with Courtney Walker (Las Vegas, Nevada) leading all Golden Eagles with 21 points on 6-of-12 shooting and 8-for-9 from the foul line. Karli O'Brien (Rapid City, South Dakota) added 15 and Haylie Anderson (Clearfield, Utah) had 13.

The Golden Eagles pressured the Lady Indians into 15 turnovers and only committed 13 of their own. Laramie County led majority of the game and led by as many as 12 with 4:03 remaining in the first half.

The Golden Eagles shot 35.1 percent from the field got outrebounded 47-45. Sam Hinkle led all Lady Indians with 22 points.

LCCC will next be in action for their second meeting with Air Force Prep on November 13th in the RAC. Game time is set for 5 p.m.
