Danielle Rinaldo Joins Women's Basketball Staff

Laramie County Community College women's basketball head coach Brian Ortmeier has hired Danielle Rinaldo as his assistant for this upcoming season.

Danielle Rinaldo begins her first season with Laramie County Community College. She was born and raised in Sterling, Colorado and graduated from Merino High School in 2012. Rinaldo was a three-sport athlete playing volleyball, basketball, and track attending state for all three sports freshmen through senior year.

Her basketball background includes playing at the NJCAA program Northeastern Junior College and moving on to NCAA Division II Colorado Mesa University. While on both teams, she helped her teams advance to the conference and national championship tournament in 2013 and 2015. Danielle graduated from Colorado Mesa University with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology Health and Fitness Promotion with a minor in Personal Training. She also has her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.  As an intern in the CMU Strength and Conditioning Department, Rinaldo worked with multiple DII teams such as men's and women's basketball, soccer, rugby, volleyball, and swimming.

Prior to joining LCCC she helped coach AAU basketball in Grand Junction, worked camps across the region and with individuals.
