LCCC Basketball Falls to Northwest Kansas Tech, 82-61

MCCOOK – The Laramie County Community College women's basketball team fell to a second-half surge by Northwest Kansas Technical College on Friday, 82-61.

The Golden Eagles are 5-5 overall as they look to snap the losing streak on Saturday.

The Golden Eagles were led Madison Hamm (Fort Collins, Colorado) who scored in double-figures with 23 points shooting 9-of-12 from the field, 1-of-2 from the three-point line and 4-of-9 from the foul line.

Three players led the team on the boards with four rebounds, Hamm, Skylar Backstrom (Castle Rock, Colorado) and Sarah Kruthaupt (Las Vegas, Nevada).

Emerald Hart led the Mavericks with a double-double, shooting 22 points and bringing down 11 rebounds. N'mandria Reynolds added 20 points.

LCCC will be back in action on the road on Saturday Nov. 25 in a neutral game against Colorado State University Club Team in McCook at 1 p.m.
