Cheyenne, WY – Laramie County Community College women's basketball has brought on Marquelle Dent as the assistant coach. Dent is originally from Laramie and played out her basketball career at the University of Wyoming.

During her collegiate years at the University of Wyoming, she made the All-Mountain West Conference First Team twice, while also making two appearances on the All-Defensive Team. She is the only player in UW Women's Basketball history with 1,000 points, 500 assists and 175 steals.

Dent graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in communication. Following graduation, she continued her basketball career overseas playing professionally in 2016 for Madeira Portugal.
