Beau Clark was introduced as the new Head Rodeo Coach for the Golden Eagles in early August. Beau was raised around agriculture, the sport of rodeo and athletics. 

“Growing up I was fortunate to have had the support to pursue rodeo, high school sports and college football.  My mom and dad encouraged their kids to be involved in everything, and now I am proud to say that I was able to fulfill my childhood dreams of playing college football and competing at the NFR.” Clark graduated as a collegiate athlete with a degree in Agriculture Business from Montana State University in 2005 and competed as a steer wrestler at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in 2012.   

When asked why he decided to become the LCCC rodeo coach, Beau Clark made it clear that you win with people.  “During my rodeo career I met a lot of great people from Wyoming.  The Wyoming people helped make it an easy decision to move to Cheyenne, Wyoming because of their attitude, honesty, and work ethics.  Also the people at LCCC are a class act who genuinely care about one another and have welcomed our family with open arms.   I am excited to recruit future Golden Eagles into the rodeo program because I am confident they will be welcomed into a great community, college and team atmosphere where individuals feel welcome and have great resources to succeed.

Beau Clark is married to Charli Mae Clark and they have a son Caysen Joe Clark.  Charli is also a native Montanan who comes from a rodeo family with its own history of success.  Charli’s step dad, Colin Murnion, is a four time NFR Qualifier in the bareback riding.  “We are lucky to have a unique family full of people who have had a lot of success in education, business, rodeo, and sports.  It is easy to always do your best when you are a part of a family that continues to pursue excellence in everything they do.  My main goal is to create a similar environment at LCCC.  It is important that we have family oriented team atmosphere, where individuals encourage each other to always do their best, pursue challenging goals, and live with the highest standards and personal expectations.”
