Golden Eagles Fly High at Casper Rodeo

Casper, WY – The Laramie County Community College rodeo team pick up some major points this past weekend at the Casper College Rodeo. The men's side finished second with 430 points and is second in the Central Rocky Mountain Region with 3,315 points. The women's side gathered 175 points and is in fifth with 1,185 points in the standings.

Bernard Girard led the men's team by winning the Tie-Down Roping with an average of 17.1 on two runs. Austin Hurlburt had a good weekend as he got second in the Steer Wrestling and ninth in the Tie-Down Roping.

On the women's team, Georgie Lage won the Break Away Roping event with an average of 5.0 on two runs.
