Women's Team Wins Rodeo Event at CSU

Fort Collins, CO – The Laramie County Community College Golden Eagles rodeo team was fared well at the Colorado State University Rodeo last weekend. The women's team won the event with a total of 250 points. The men's team finished 3rd with 375 points.

The Golden Eagles were led by Caydee Johnson who finished 2nd in the Goat Tying with a time of 14.0 on two runs and 7th in the Break Away Roping with an average of 6.7 on two. Austin Hulburt led the men as he captured 2nd in the Tie Down Roping with a 20.1 on two runs. Bernard Girard also had a good showing with a 3rd place finish in the Steer Wrestling with a time of 9.6 on two and a 4th place finish in the Tie Down Roping with an average of 20.6 on two.

Johnson won the All-around on the women's side.
