Ryan Shuckburgh Takes 2nd in Steer Wrestling

LAMAR, CO – The Laramie County Community College Rodeo team was in action over the weekend in Lamar, Colorado for the Lamar Community College Rodeo. The men's team was led by Ryan Shuckburgh who finished 2nd in the Steer Wrestling. The men took 5th and the women finished 8th. They were led by Caydee Johnson who came in 9th in the Goat Tying.

 

TOP PERFORMERS:

  • Ryan Shuckburgh came in 2nd in the Steer Wrestling with an average of 11.0.
  • Bailey Brown and Wil Frerichs took 3rd in the Team Roping with an average of 21.9.
  • Austin Hulburt took 4th in the Tie-Down Roping with an average of 23.1.
  • JD Draper and Hulburt finished 7th in the Team Roping with a long-go run of 9.0. Average was 109.0.
  • Tate Mathis garnered 8th in the Tie-Down Roping with an average of 31.8.
  • Tyler Houle hooked 8th in the Steer Wrestling with an average of 19.1.
  • Caydee Johnson took 9th in the Goat Tying with an average of 20.3.
  • Rance Johnson came in 10th in the Tie-Down Roping with an average of 110.3.

 

LCCC will head to Riverton, Wyoming for the Central Wyoming College rodeo this upcoming weekend.
