Gage Greer Wins Steer Wrestling in Casper

Casper, WY- After a weekend off the Laramie County Community College Rodeo team was back in action at the Casper College Rodeo in Casper, Wyoming. This is the second to the last rodeo in the Central Rocky Mountain Region.

Gage Greer led the Golden Eagles as he won the Steer Wrestling event with an average of 9.7. The men's team finished 4th with 320 points. Greer is just 10 points behind the leader in the Central Rocky Mountain Region standings. The women were led by Abby Farris who placed 4th in the Breakaway Roping. The team finished 6th with a total of 113.3 points. Farris is now 6th in the Central Rocky Mountain Region.

The Golden Eagles will wrap up the season this weekend as they travel to Laramie for the University of Wyoming Rodeo.

Cameron Fanning took 3rd in Steer Wrestling with an average of 10.1.

Terrel Vineyard and Doug Finney placed 4th in the Team Roping with an average time of 107.7.

Abby Farris came in 4th in Breakaway Roping with an average of 5.9

Denton Ward finished 6th in the Saddle Bronc with an average score of 110.

Mason Marsh and Glen Gardner took 6th in Team Roping with an average of 108.5.

Bailey Brown finished 8th in the Breakaway Roping with an average of 103.1.

Jayden Johnson and Justene Hirsig (University of Wyoming) came in 9th in Team Roping with an average of 110.5.

Linzee Adamson took 9th in the Barrel Racing with an average of 31.29.

Bailey Brown and Will Frerichs came in 10th in the Team Roping with an average of 112.7.

Kynadee Beck took 10th in Barrel Racing with an average of 31.34.
