Finalists are set for Shawn Dubie Rodeo

With the long go-around completed, the finalists for the Shawn Dubie Memorial Rodeo have been determined. Laramie County Community College has six riders in the finals in five events.

Cameron Fanning placed second in the long go with his 4.9-second steer wrestling run.

Brady Joseph and Doug Finney caught their team roping steer in 8.2 seconds, which was good enough for ninth place.

Lance Stevens is in sixth place in tie-down roping with a 10.6 on his first calf.

Megan Turek is in ninth place with a 7.8 in goat tying.

And Kynadee Beck ran a 16.40 in the barrels, giving her sixth place in the long go.

The top 10 riders in each event are invited back for the finals. The final performance begins at 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, in the LCCC Arena.
