Tyler, Texas – The Golden Eagles surrendered two goals at the start of the second half but still advanced to the NJCAA National Tournament Semifinals on goal differential. Tyler Junior College would defeat Laramie County by a score of 2-0. The loss makes the Golden Eagles record on the year 16-4-1 for the season.
Declan Domyan (Johannesburg, South Africa) had 11 saves in the game for the Golden Eagles. Bryan Vazquez (Denver, Colorado) had the best chance in first half for the Golden Eagles but had his shot saved. Noe Ortiz-Pena (Aurora, Colorado) had a shot late in the game go off the crossbar.
LCCC will play Eastern Florida State College on Friday in the second semi-final at 5:30 p.m. CT.
