TUCSON, Ariz. – The Laramie County Community College men's soccer team season came to an end with a 3-0 defeat to #3 Pima Community College Friday night in Tucson, Arizona.
Pima's Alex Nguyen scored the deciding goal in the 21st minute on a pass from Itsuki Ishihara. Pima would go on to score two more first half goals by Ishihara with the first coming on a 1v1 breakaway and the second with a shot on the edge of the six-yard box.
Laramie County posted four shots and two on goal. The Aztecs collected 17 shots and 11 on frame. Dalton Young (Gillette, Wyoming) led the Golden Eagles with two shots.
The Golden Eagles finish the season with an 8-7-1 record. LCCC won the Region IX Tournament last weekend before falling to Pima at the District Tournament. Pima will represent the West District at the National Tournament.
