Cheyenne, WY – The Golden Eagles men's soccer team had a number of shots in the match but could not capitalize in the 90 minutes of play Saturday and fell 1-0 to Northwest College in Region IX play.
Laramie County Community College (0-8) outshot the Trappers 22-6 and 9-3 in shots on goal.
Daniel Lobera got the visitors on the board in the 73rd minute when he intercepted a pass from a Golden Eagle defender.
LCCC continued to knock on the door but could not finished the opportunities. Karlo Terrazas was in goal and recorded two saves in the loss.
Laramie County hits the road to Gillette on Wednesday to face Gillette College in Region IX play at 3 p.m.
