Men’s Soccer loses to Eastern Florida

Great Bend, KS – The Laramie County Community College men's soccer team hit encountered a Titans squad who was clicking on all cylinders. The Golden Eagles fell in their second match of the season to Eastern Florida State College 11-2 on Saturday.

The Titans who came in ranked #11 in the country scored five first half goals. Jimmy Mwanga scored two in the half while Danilo Orsi-Dadomo had one and assisted on another. The Titans would tack on six more goals in the second half.

The Golden Eagles goals came in the 60th minute when Aaron Barber played Israel Hernandez down the line who got by the defender for the finish. Ricardo Vazquez scored in the 87th minute on a pass from Hernandez.

Karlo Terrazas and Austin Brandes split time in goal. Terrazas made nine saves in the first half and Brandes made six saves.

Golden Eagles will be back in action next weekend when they host Salt Lake Community College and #3 Iowa Western Community College.
