CHEYENNE, Wyo. – Erik Oliver (Cheyenne, Wyoming) had 29 points as the Laramie County Community College men's basketball team outlasted USU-Eastern 84-82 on Saturday afternoon at the RAC Gymnasium.
Vojtech Rusek led the Eagles with 19 points. The Golden Eagles (1-1) will travel to McCook Community College on Friday night for their next contest.
Damien Perry (North Dartmouth, Massachusetts) added 20 points on 6-of-19 shooting, while Mateo Zovko (Mostar, Bosnia) had 13 for the Golden Eagles. Cortney Dean (Denver, Colorado) added nine points to go with four rebounds.
As a team, LCCC shot 37.9 percent from the field for the game.
