Golden Eagles Fall to CWC

CHEYENNE, Wyoming – After leading 43-39 at the half, the Laramie County Community College men's basketball team was unable to battle back late in the second half falling to Central Wyoming College 93-75. Central Wyoming outscored the Golden Eagles 54-32 in the second half and won the rebounding battle 44 to 28 in the game.

LCCC now sits at 8-11 on the season and 1-2 in the Region IX North.

David Appelgren (Stockholm, Sweden) led Laramie County with 27 points, five blocks and pulled down six rebounds. Stephane Manzi (Nyamirambo, Rwanda) added 18 points and six rebounds. Daequan Spragion dropped 10 assists on the night.

As a team, the Golden Eagles shot 45 percent from the field, 28.6 percent from the three-point line and 71.4 percent from the foul line. Central Wyoming shot 50 percent from the field, 39.3 percent from the three-point line and 73.7 percent from the foul line.
