Cheyenne, WY – Laramie County Community College men's basketball standout sophomore Landon Taliaferro garnered All-Region IX First Team recognition.
Taliaferro led the Golden Eagles in scoring this season averaging 22.1 points per game. His 22.1 ppg currently has him for 9th in the country in scoring. Landon leads the country with 130 made 3-pointers and shot 48.7 percent from the perimeter, which was 7th best for players who took over 100 three pointers in the season.
He had six games this season with 30 points or more. Had a career high 38-point performance against Western Wyoming Community College on Nov. 11th. He knocked down a season-high 10 3-pointers against Northeastern Junior College on Dec. 7th.
The Golden Eagles finished 17-14 overall this season.
