Cheyenne, WY – Laramie County Community College men's basketball had two players sign National Letters of Intent with four-year universities Thursday afternoon. Dominik Heinzl signed with Cal State Fullerton and Ola Ayodele signed with Midwestern State University.
The two helped the Golden Eagles go 23-11 on the year and capture the Region IX South Regular season title and a runner-up in the Region IX Tournament.
Heinzl (Uzov, Czech Republic) was a First Team All-Region performer who averaged 12.6 points per game and 6.6 rebounds per game. He had a career high 24 points on Feb. 1 against Air Force Prep.
Ayodele (London, England) averaged 11.9 points per game, 4.2 rebounds per game and 3.9 assists per game this past season. He had a career high 22 points on Dec. 6th at home against Casper College.
Cal State Fullerton finished 17-15 this past season and took part of the CIT postseason tournament. They are a NCAA DI member of the Big West Conference.
Midwestern State University finished 14-14 this past season. They are a NCAA DII school and compete in the Lone Star Conference.
